2026 World Cup tickets: When they come out, prices and how to buy them

The initial prices of tickets to World Cup 2026 range from $ 60 in groups to 6,710 in the final.

Colombia held its classification to the 2026 World Cup after beating Bolivia 3-0 in Barranquilla. With the insured quota, now the attention of the fans moves to the ticket office for the next World Cupwhich will be played in United States, Mexico and Canada As of June next year.

After months of expectation, FIFA confirmed the calendar on Wednesday and the conditions for the start of the ticket sales process. The system, which will be developed in several phases, will start the September 10 with an application window for exclusive presale with visa cardsin force until the 19th of the same month.

Ticket sales phases

The way to get a ticket will be divided into different stages:

• Visa Presale Draw (September 10 to 19): It will be a kind of raffle, which only those who have visa cards can access. Those selected will receive a date and time in October to try to buy.
• Early Ticket Draw (From October 27): The same dynamic, but open to all fans without the need for visa, with purchases assigned in November and December.
• After the World Cup raffle (December 5): When crossings, dates and headquarters are known, another phase of lottery sales will be enabled.
• Last phase of direct sales: In the spring of 2026 the “First Come, First Serve” system will open, where the remaining tickets will be sold by order of arrival.

In addition, FIFA will have its own official resale platform and keep hospitality packages that exceed several thousand dollars.

Initial prices

The entity confirmed that the cheapest tickets for group phase matches will start in 60 dollars. However, a system of dynamic prices which will be adjusted according to the demand: matches of favorite selections such as Argentina or Brazil could be more expensive over the months.

The highest cost will have the final: $ 6,730 as a base in category 1a figure that quadruple the most expensive entry value for the decisive duel of Qatar 2022.

Purchase options

In the first phase three types of products can be acquired:

• Individual entries for a specific party.
• Packages per headquarters, which include all first round games and an eighth duel in that city.
• Packages by selection, with the three games of the group stage of the chosen team.

FIFA clarified that in case of buying a package for a selection that fails to classify, the money will be reimbursed.

With the selection already insured in the appointment, thousands of Colombian fans will begin to plan the World Cup. Colombia will have its seventh consecutive participation in World Cups and its fans will be able to opt for the “Support Tickets”, which allow them to be located in the stands destined for followers of the same country. These will be available closer to the tournament, through a coordinated process between FIFA and the Colombian Football Federation.
