WWE will bring Saturday Night's Main Event after almost two decades. The program was broadcast at different times between 1985 and 1992 and was briefly revived between 2006 and 2007. However, the last SNME was broadcast on August 2, 2008.
WWE has scheduled the next show for December 14, 2024. The billboard seems to be defined with five fighting. The World Women's Championship, the World Weight Weight Championship and WWE's undisputed championship will be at stake. In addition, the first women's women's champion will be crowning during this two -hour special.
Before the show, here are some spoilers that the headquarters in Stamford could have revealed:
#3. The return of 'Winged Eagle'
For a long time, Cody Rhodes has been promoting WWE to bring back the iconic 'Winged Eagle' belt. This design was introduced in 1988 with Hulk Hogan as the first bearer. Great names like Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair and Bret Hart have brought their belt. He was finally retired after Wrestlemania 14, with Stone Cold Steve Austin being the last to hold it.
Before the show, Triple H presented Cody Rhodes a mysterious gift. The Game explained to The American Nightmare that he could only use it “by one night.”
Considering that Rhodes had previously declared that he would love that the 'Winged Eagle' returned even for one night, speculation makes sense.
#2. The Rock could appear on Saturday Night's Main Event
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is a member of Tko's Board of Directors. Therefore, even when it does not appear on WWE TV, you are constantly working with the promotion for your shows and events. The last time The Rock was seen on WWE TV was during the final moments of Bad Blood, where he apparently launched a challenge to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
During an appearance in The Tonight Show con Jimmy FallonThe American Nightmare praised Nick Khan, Triple H and The Rock for bringing back the concept of Saturday Night's Main Event. Since this program returns after several years, fans can expect to see The Final Boss make an appearance.
#1. Roman Reigns could appear during a fight
Sami Zayn will face Drew McIntyre in Saturday Night's Main Event in an individual fight. The Scottish warrior returned to WWE and executed a Claymore on Zayn, starting a rivalry between them.
Previously, it had been announced that Roman Reigns would be in the show, but WWE withdrew it from promotional materials. Although the billboards are subject to changes, the promotion could have eliminated it to generate conversation in this regard.
Since his recent change to Face, he has shown concern for the original members of Bloodline. It could appear on Saturday Night's Main Event to help Sami Zayn against Drew McIntyre, which could lead to a rivalry between Reigns and McIntyre.
