CM Punk has a vision for 2025 and is ready to compete at the WWE Royal Rumble of 2025 for an opportunity to head Wrestlemania. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy declared that he is interested in resuming his popular rivalry with The Second City Saint.

In 2009, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy were in an intense rivalry that, on different occasions, blurred the line between fiction and reality. The story was one of the most commented in the industry, and fans remember her with love as a prominent point in the races of both fighters in WWE.

Recently, Jeff Hardy talked about wanting to withdraw CM Punk and enter the WWE Hall of Fame. The statement generated some expectation, and Hardy clarified what he meant in an interview with Chris van Vlietthe former WWE champion and twice heavyweight worldwide champion.

More importantly, he wants to resume his former rivalry with The Second City Saint and expected them to cross AEW, which did not happen. Interestingly, he also talked about a change of roles if the rivalry happens.

The rivalry between The Charismatic Enigma and The Second City Saint began when CM Punk exchanged his Money in the Bank contract against Jeff Hardy to win the World Heavyweight Championship in Extreme Rules in 2009.

In the following months, both exchanged victories and the prestigious title before finishing their rivalry in Smackdown. In his last meeting, Punk defeated Hardy in a struggle of Steel Cage, which was Jeff Hardy's last fight in WWE at that time.

A few years later, Hardy returned with his brother and had a good performance before they both left the promotion in 2021.
