A former WWE couples champion recently confirmed that he would never compete within the ring. He explained that he had accepted that fact.
TJ Wilson (previously known as Tyson Kidd) joined the company based in Stamford in 2006. For the next nine years, the 44 -year -old fighter won three championships in pairs. However, he suffered a spinal cord injury during a dark match against Samoa Joe In June 2015. Since then, he has moved away from competition in the ring.
In a recent interview with El Podcast Two Man Power Trip of WrestlingWilson was asked about the possibility of returning to action in the ring. The former champion in pairs confirmed that this would never happen:
“No, I will not fight again. I will never fight again, which, you know, it may sound a bit, you know, very real, but it is for me. It has been my reality for almost six years. So I have been more than accepted. When people hear me say that, I think they are surprised a little, but I know myself. I know myself very well. And I will never fight again.” (From 02:33 to 03:02)

TJ Wilson says he lives through WWE's talents
Since he moved away from the competition in the ring, TJ Wilson became a producer behind the scene. He revealed that now he can do everything he did as talent, except to receive blows.
The former champion in pairs declared in his interview with El Podcast Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling who was proud of his career in the ring and can now live it through current talents the two wwe:
“I am proud of my career. I had a good career of almost exactly 20 years in the ring. And my career is not over. It is just different, and now I am in chapter two. I am no longer in the ring, but I can do everything, except to be the person in the ring. But I can live indirectly through the talents. So I almost obtain a lot of satisfaction. I simply do not have to take anything of the physical. Well, ”he explained. (From 03:03 to 03:33)
Wilson is married to the WWE Natalya Neidhart superstar. He currently participates in Monday Night RAW.
