WWE is the most hot wrestling company on the planet at this time, but even the largest promotion in the world has to make budget cuts. The company has already released several stars in 2025 so far.

All Elite Wrestling was launched in 2019 and has caused a lot of stir in the wrestling business. The company once had CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, but both stars have found more success in other places. However, stars like Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley (previously known as Dean Ambrose) have prospered in AEW after their WWE outings.

Five stars are listed below that could stand out in All Elite Wrestling after being released by WWE.

#5. The former Wwe Isla Dawn star would be a great hiring for AEW

Isla Dawn was part of a popular couple team with Alba Fyre, and the duo were former champions as a female couple. However, Dawn was surprisingly released earlier this month and will be free to sign with another promotion in a few months.

Dawn could be an important hiring for AEW's female division and would bring some additional stellar to the company. The veteran would be an interesting rival for Toni Storm, the TBS Mercedes Moné champion and several other stars in AEW's roster.

#4. Giovanni Vinci

Giovanni Vinci used to be a member of Imperium, but was betrayed by the faction last year. Ludwig Kaiser brutally attacked his former teammate in the RAW episode of April 22, 2024.

Vinci then moved to Smackdown, but he was never given an individual star in the main roster. He lost two rapid fighting against Apollo Crews last year before disappearing from television. The released star is a tremendous interpreter in the ring and could become a star in All Elite Wrestling if signing with the promotion in the future.

#3. Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander signed with WWE in 2016 and spent nine years with the promotion before being released earlier this month. The veteran won the cruise championship as an individual star and captured the Raw couples championship with Shelton Benjamin during his time with the company.

Alexander used to be in The Hurt Business with MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. MVP, Benjamin and Lashley are now known as The Hurt Syndicate at All Elite Wrestling. Lashley and Benjamin are the current world champions in AEW couples and successfully defended the titles against The Gunns last Wednesday in Dynamite. Alexander would fit naturally in All Elite Wrestling and could meet with The Hurt Syndicate in the company.

#2. The Authors of Pain

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Play) were released by WWE for the second time earlier this month. Paul Ellering was the manager of the duo and was also released by the company. AOP are former champions in NXT couples and captured the RAW couples championship once during their time in the main roster.

Akam and praying could see The Hurt Syndicate as a great example of stars that succeed in AEW after being released by WWE. The Authors of Pain could appear in All Elite Wrestling in the coming months and look for the World Championship in AEW couples.

#1. The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows y Karl Anderson)

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (The Good Brothers) are a legendary couple team that spent some time at All Elite Wrestling before returning to WWE in 2022. Unfortunately, the popular duo was fired for the promotion on February 8.

Gallows and Anderson could return to AEW and make it clear that they still have a lot to offer in the ring. The veterans would help revitalize the division of couples into AEW and could have several fighting dreamed with the promotion.
