1. Wild tours with Ric Flair
«That guy and I did everything … I was with him as long as I could – until I couldn't take it anymore. He almost kills me! We normally had our own plane. And if we didn't have one, we were going to look for one! (He laughs) It could be Las Vegas one night and Richmond the next night. I have so many stories about that idiot … that manic! One night I woke up at the Sheraton Hotel – Rric and I completely naked, he at one end and I in the other, and there were bodies thrown everywhere. I don't remember what happened that night … (laughs) ».
2. Live next to Ric and the story with Barry Windham
«At first we lived next to each other. This guy used to be in my backyard all the time. He was the one who put my son Barry (Windham) in this. One day I didn't find Barry. This was just after RIC bought an old black limousine from the TAMS – the old musical group. They had that black limousine when they were on top – and ric goes and purchase! He puts Barry dressed in a driver uniform, and makes him take him in that limousine to the airport. My son was 15 years old, without a driver's license! Ric was going to pick up a girl at the airport, trying to impress her.
3. The joke with Dynamite Jack in the Hilton
«One night, Ric and I were in the Hilton in Raleigh. I convinced RIC to dress like a woman … (laughs) Flair enters the bar … We were joking a little friend who wanted a lot, called 'Dynamite' Jack Evans. He was a very good fighter, a Puerto Rican/Jew of New York. One of the funniest guys in the world! I was always with one of us. He handled for us, did the dirty work. He kept silent and never told out of place stories. Anyway, I told Dynamite Jack: 'I have a new girlfriend'. And he tells me: 'Does Jack really? Keep in mind that Dynamite Jack didn't see very well. He wore very far glasses (laughs). So I convey to Flair that he looks like a woman. He puts on a wig and a dress, and enters the Hilton bar. Flair is sitting in my lap (he laughs strong). Dynamite Jack approaches Angelo Mosca and says: 'Holy God, that Mulligan walks with a ugly woman tonight … Look that nose!' (laughs)«.
4. The disaster in the shared truck
«My God, there were all kinds of innovable things! Ric's wife had left him, and he was with Beth (with whom he married in 1983), and my wife was a friend of her first wife … and hated Beth … Ric and I had a van together, and he used to keep a lot of things in her closet inside the van. One day, my wife was preparing to go to church and asked me if I could use the van. I thought: 'My God … RIC had the van last night …'. I ran quickly and checked the van … there were pantimedias everywhere … I looked in his closet, and my God! There were all kinds of unspeakable things. I started to get things as quickly as possible and put them in a bag so that the children and my wife could use the way to go to church.
