The wrestling veteran Booker T He reflected on his inclusion in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. He revealed that at first he was against, since he felt he was still young.
The 59 -year -old star has achieved many things in her career. He has won five world championships on WCW and one in WWE. He is also a former King of the Ring winner and is recognized as the eighth Grand Slam champion under the original format. He currently works in NXT as a commentator.
Speaking in the last edition of the Podcast of the Hall of Fame, Booker T declared that he was not very excited when he received the call to enter the WWE Hall of Fame, since he worried that that meant that his career was over.
“I didn't think it was the right thing, I felt that I was too young. I thought it was too soon to enter the Hall of Fame. I really weren't ready yet because I felt that entering the Hall of Fame meant that my career was over. Everything I did was going to be, you know, leave me in the past, so I thought, man, I don't know if I'm ready for this,” he said.
Booker T says that he never saw himself entering the WWE Hall of Fame
Although Booker T said he never imagined becoming a member of the Hall of Fame the two wwe it was included twice. The second time was in 2019 with his brother Stevie Ray as a member of Harlem Heat.
Booker said he was more focused on being the best fighter and that an induction to the Hall of Fame was not in his radar.
“But, they call you to enter the Hall of Fame, something I had never thought about. I never saw myself entering the Hall of Fame. That was never in my radar. I really always wanted to be the best fighter,” Booker said.
Booker T is currently retired from the competition in the ring. He competed in his last fight at the Royal Rumble last year.
