The presidential elections are usually a stressful moment for all involved, regardless of which one one is, and the presidential elections of 2024 seem not to have been different. That is especially the case of former WWE star, Bellator and Aew Jake Hager, a supporter of Donald Trump who spent Tuesday night launching accusations against his former boss, Aew Tony Khan owner.

At first, Hager was seen tweeting derogatory comments towards women and the right to abortion. That changed around 11 pm, when a fan responded to a Tuit from Hager labeling Khan and Bryan Danielson to “control your stupid drunk boy,” falsely believing that Hager still worked for AEW. It was then that Hager replied.

“Tony Khan is someone who threatened my job if I kept promoting my Trump campaign,” said Hager. “He is a communist.”

But Hager didn't stop there. Ten minutes after this exchange, Hager published another tweet.

“Do you want evidence that @Tonykhan is a communist and threatened to keep silent or otherwise?” Hager asked.

Since then, all Hager's tweets of that evening have been eliminated. Khan seems to have not responded to any of Hager's statements, and his most recent tweet promoted the next episode of AEW “dynamite” from Manchester, New Hampshire. After Hager's diatribe, the independent promotion Blitzkrieg Pro! He eliminated Hager from his next program on December 14, citing his behavior in social networks.

Although he was not a member of the “Day 1” of the Roster of AEW, Hager debuted in the promotion shortly after, appearing in the first episode of “dynamite” to align with Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz and Sammy Guevara, forming the inner Circle. Hager would remain largely next to Jericho during his mandate in AEW, even becoming a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society, before leaving Jericho in mid -2023. His contract with AEW expired in May 2024.
