Shelton Benjamin believes that the arrival of Bobby Lashley to AEW would be a turning point for the company. In the podcast gabby AF Benjamin reflected on his story with Lashley in The Hurt Business during the time they were in the WWE and expressed his enthusiasm for the possibility of meeting him under the AEW banner.

Benjamin, who now operates with MVP as part of AEW's new faction, The Hurt Syndicate, praised Lashley as one of the most exceptional athletes in the wrestling industry.

“If Bobby came … it would be great, it would be a victory for AEW,” Benjamin said. He highlighted the impact that The Hurt Business had during the WWE pandemic era, when several members obtained championships simultaneously in Monday Night Raw. Benjamin added: “Apart from me, you have one of the most phenomenal athletes you could ever have. A twice WWE world champion. Just bring a bigger audience to AEW, so it's an advantage.”

While Lashley has not yet signed officially with AEW, Benjamin confirmed that conversations have been held between Lashley and AEW. He emphasized that the moment of the possible arrival of Lashley is still uncertain.

“Bobby has its own plans, and it is still to be determined when they will coincide with ours, if they will do it. His arrival at AEW can only help everyone involved. It will be very fun.”

Benjamin comes from an impressive victory against Lio Rush in his AEW debut in the Episode of October 16, Dynamite . Next, he will face Swerve Strickland in Fright Night Dynamite of AEW on October 30.
