WWE BAD BLOOD 2024 was a night full of memorable moments and incredible fighting that fans enjoyed from beginning to end. That said, the show was not exempt from controversies and the fight of Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley had a failed end and now the reason has been revealed.
During the fight for the World Women's Championship in Bad Blood, Dominik Mysterio was suspended in an antitiburon cage in the ringside while Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan fought inside the ring. Near the end of the fight, Dominik Mysterio managed to open the lock and the door of the cage. However, he was too scared to leave due to his fear of heights.
Ripley took advantage of this and took Liv out of the ring to hurt her right in front of Dominik. After a while, Dominik could not stand more and tried to escape, but forgot that his leg was chained to the cage, being hanging in the air.
Seeing this, Rhea Ripley grabbed a Kendo stick to punish Dominik Mysterio. Suddenly, Raquel Rodríguez returned and attacked Rhea from behind. Then, Rodrigeuz threw Rhea back to the ring. After a brief pause, the bell rang to point out the end of the fight.
Without being sure what to do next, Raquel put Liv on Rhea for Pinfall, but then lifted Liv again, in what was a very uncomfortable ending for combat and fans criticized WWE for the same in social networks.
According to Fightful Select, the initial combat plan was that Liv Morgan won with the help of Raquel Rodríguez, who returned to the fight. However, everything collapsed when the referee sounded the bell ahead of time.
The report indicated that it was understood that the original final implied that Morgan won with Rodríguez's help, but the referee felt that he had to call a disqualification because he witnessed everything that happened.
“It was implied that Rhea's original end was Liv was that Liv would win with Raquel's help. However, the referee could not justify not doing a disqualification end since he saw how everything was developed.”
It remains to see if the WWE will solve the final evil of the fight, since it is quite clear that things simply did not come out as planned and, ultimately, it affected the quality of combat. This fight is expected to continue in the coming weeks with Raquel now being part of the equation.

Speaking to WWE Digital after the show, Morgan boasted of always having a plan to be one step ahead of Rhea Ripley.
