The lesions virus has affected several of AEW's main stars during the past year, and many of them are not expected to return to 2025.
Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston and Keith Lee have been out of play for some time, but the company received an impulse welcome with the appearance of two injured stars that appeared behind the stage in “Aew Dynamite” of September 18.
According to Pwinsider, Adam Cole was after racks at the event in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, since the year has come from his initial injury in the 2023 edition of Grand Slam. According to the reports, Cole was after racks in the PPV All out on September 7, where it was said that he walked well after breaking his ankle almost a year ago, but there is still no estimated date on when he could return to the ring.
The other star that was behind the scenes for the first time in a long time was the former TBS champion Julia Hart. He took a while outside AEW after the Dynasty PPV in April to rehabilitate a shoulder injury in which he had been working before the event, and underwent surgery a few days later.
Once again, there is no schedule established for when it will return to the ring, but the appearance behind the scenes on September 18 is something that many people were very happy to see. Cole and Hart are not the only injured stars that could be close to returning.
The former TNT Powerhouse Hobbs champion was recently behind the scenes in an episode of “dynamite” after a long period outside the court for a knee injury, and both Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi were seen training together in Japan, since neither of them has fought for AEW at all in 2024 diagnosis of diverticulitis for omega.
