The former WWE star and current Hollywood actor Dave Bautista has experienced a spectacular transformation in the last two years, losing approximately 75 pounds. Recently, Bautista talked about his weight loss in a couple of interviews for Chris van Vliet.

At present, Bautista weighs 240 pounds, a figure that, according to him, had not seen since he was 19 years old. If we go back to the spring of 2022, Bautista weighed around 315 pounds during the filming of the movie “Knock at the cabin” by M. Night Shyamalan. According to Bautista, this figure arose in an attempt to fit in the mold of what he thought Shyamalan wanted his character to wear his respective film.

“I became very big for a paper and it was uncomfortable. In 'Knock at the cabin' I became very large and weighed around 142 kilos. I got weight very fast. I had to gain weight between movies. I had very little time to gain weight. I did it with fried potatoes and pancakes,” said Bautista.

“The director told me: 'I didn't want you to look like a weightlifter, I just wanted it to look like a corpulent guy.' Now, when I looked back, I probably exceeded. I was probably a bit too big, but at that time, I just thought: 'I have to make myself big. I have to make me big.' I went up an uncomfortable amount of weight and took an eternity to lose it.

At present, Bautista is doing promotion work for her leading role as Joe Flood in “The Killer's Game”, in which the former WWE Drew McIntyre champion also appears. In the midst of this, Bautista also continues to refine her physique.

“I realized that the more I lost, the better I felt,” said Bautista. “I also noticed that the more I lost, the better I saw me before the camera, next to other actors. Even with this weight, people say things like, 'God, you are thin!' I even saw on the Internet that some people are worried about my health.

Bautista said he intends to lose “more accounts.”

“I am training hard, not training hard, but my calories are quite restricted, maybe 2,500 calories a day,” said Bautista. “For me, it's like anything. I'm not eating much. I don't die of hunger or anything, but I make intermittent fasting. I have not yet eaten and it is almost 1:00 pm normally not as for three or four hours before bedtime, so it is a short period.”

During his full-time career at the WWE (2000-2010), the Baptist Constitution ranged between 275 and 325 pounds, this last weight being the result of his five-month career as Deacon Batista with Reverend D-Von in 2002. From there, Batista remembers the rest of his career in the ring, which saw him transform into “The Animal”, around the brand of the 290 pounds. Bautista finally left the WWE in the spring of 2010, and subsequently dedicated himself to a full -time race in television and cinematographic performance.
