With 51 years of history in Puerto Rican wrestling, the Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum in Bayamón will be the 51st anniversary stage, presented by the World Wrestling Council (WWC), starting at 8:00 at night.
This year, the event pays tribute to one of the most charismatic fighters that has gone through the company: Shane “The Glamor Boy”.
In the star fight, for the universal championship, a fight without disqualification will be played where there will be no interventions and there must be a winner. Intellect 5 stars, accompanied by Eddie Colón, will defend his title against Mr. Rayting, Ray González, who will have the support of the Acrobata de Puerto Rico, Carlitos Colón, on his return to the most important WWC event. Shane will serve as a special referee in combat.
If you crowned champion, Ray González, 52, could beat a new brand by being universal World Wrestling Council in four different decades. Throughout his career, González has captured this prestigious title on 21 occasions. His first reign occurred in 1994 after beating Greg Valentine and since then his career took off both with the Council and the IWA, where he had other successful campaigns.
Gonzalez has not held the Universal Championship since 2017 when he lost it in Dorado after being the ironing in a fight in pairs against Khaos and Abbadon, so that Victor Jovica then declared the belt vacant.
