Dory Funk Jr. is still one of the most crazy professional fighters in wrestling.

The legend of the WWE Hall of Fame and former world heavyweight champion of the NWA competed in a Double Hell Current Explosion Death Match in the FMW-E Terry Funk Memorial show at the Fujitsu Kawasaki Stadium in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan.

At 83, Dory Funk Jr. associated with Osamu Nishimura, who at 52 is no longer a young man. To worsen things, Nishimura currently suffers from stage 4 of the duct that goes from the throat to the stomach that has spread to the brain.

During the event, Funk Jr. and Nishimura won the victory over the Atsushi Onita and Raijin Yaguchi team in just over 13 minutes.

In his last Hardcore exit 61 years after his iconic race in 1963, Funk Jr. survived to be in the midst of multiple explosions in the fight, which took place on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in “The Land of the Rising Sun”.
