The Capital One Arena will host WWE SmackDown this Friday night in Washington, DC. The company has begun to promote the return to the ring of a popular and controversial name: Jacob the Lord .
Although Tonga Loa joined his brother Tama Tonga to defend the WWE couples championship at recent live events, the “Freeeberd rule” does not seem to be applicable in this reign. Fatu suffered a minor injury in Summerslam, but returned to the team last week. His appearance was fundamental for The Bloodline to remain firm against Roman Reigns.
This Friday, Jacob Fatu will join Tama Tonga to defend the WWE pairs championship against The Street Profits . Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins became the number one contenders last week by defeating #Diy.
Jacob Fatu made his debut in June 2024. In this brief period of time, Fatu has had a remarkable impact, and many believe that he is the legitimate heir of Roman Reigns instead of Sol Sikoa. Ironically, he is the executor of the latter in the new formation of The Bloodline, a role that Sikoa originally assumed for Reigns.

Booker T recently spoke about Jacob Fatu among a large number of topics in his podcast Hall of Fame . He emphasized the “tests and tribulations” through which the controversial star had to go before finally arriving at World Wrestling Entertainment.
Booker believes that the 32 -year -old has a brilliant future in the business and added that Jacob Fatu is on the rise. Booker also pointed out that Fatu is willing to work through the ranks and, for this same reason, the member of the Hall of Fame has a very high opinion of the latter:
“He is willing to work to get it,” said Booker T. “That is what I appreciate this boy, he has worked a lot to get to this position. He had to go through all those tests and tribulations to achieve it, but I think that if it weren't for those tests and tribulations I would not understand what this really means today.”
It remains to be seen how the Bloodline saga will evolve from now on, since Roman Reigns seems to be in danger now that Jacob Fatu has returned to the group.
