The president of the United States, Donald Trump, ordered to expand the arrests and deportation of migrants throughout the country, while protests against their policies continue.
In a message posted on his social network Truth Social, Trump called on federal agencies to “do everything in his possession” to comply with “the largest mass deportation program in history.”
He added that to achieve the objective, “efforts to stop and deport illegal foreigners in the largest cities in the United States, such as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York where millions and millions of illegal foreigners reside.”
These cities are among many where large -scale protests have been recorded against the raids of undocumented immigrants made since June 6.
Trump ordered the immigration authorities to concentrate their efforts in the sanctuary cities – which limit their support for federal immigration authorities – that, during protests, they have become a source of tension between federal and state legislators.
The officials of these cities have defended their legal rights to provide protection to undocumented migrants.
Trump has faced legal and critical demands for his response to protests, especially for the sending of marine infants to suppress the demonstrations.

The president claimed to have given the directive so that “the entire administration puts all possible resources in support of this effort.”
He also declared that he would prevent the entrance to the country of “all who undermines the internal tranquility of the United States.”
Going to several federal agencies including the Anti -Drug Agency (DEA) and the Customs Immigration and Control Service (ICE), Trump wrote that “they have my unwavering support. Now, go and do their job!”.
Protests increase
The message was known a day after a new wave of protests against Trump's policies throughout the country.
On June 14, the “No to the Kings” movement made demonstrations in several cities from Los Angeles to New York. These protests also coincided with a great military parade in Washington DC to commemorate the 250 years of the US Army that took place on the 79th birthday of the president.
Saturday's protests were mostly peaceful. However, a person died in a shooting during a “no to the kings” march in the city of Salt Lake City, Utah.
On the other hand, the police in Los Angeles launched tear gas and crowd control ammunition to clear the protesters when the event ended.
And the uniformed in Portland, Oregon, also fired tear gas and projectiles against a group of protesters gathered around an ICE building.
The order to expand deportations is a sign of Trump's intention to fully bring his fiance “major criminal deportation program in the history of the United States”.
Opinion polls indicate that their policy had generalized support in the prelude to the 2024 presidential elections. However, since the deportation program has spread, the protests have increased.
The president has had to deal with the impact that his mass deportations have had in key industries that depend on the work of undocumented migrants.
These include the industries of agriculture, hotels, restaurants and meat packers.
The new order happens a day after the Trump government gave instructions to immigration officials to largely stop their raids against these sectors, according to the Reuters agency.
