The former universal WWE Goldberg will compete in his retirement fight this year. Da Man is preparing for his last dance in the ring in a training field. However, his opponent has not yet been revealed. Recently, Bron Breakker reacted to the possibility of being the last veteran challenger.
Bron Breakker surprised the world this week at the first RAW after Wrestlemania, when he attacked Roman Reigns with a Spear, joining Seth Rollins, revealing himself as the new “Paul Heyman Guy.” He lost his WWE intercontinental championship in The Show of Shows in a Four Bands Fatal Combat.
While talking in Gorilla PositionBron Breakker reacted to the possibility of being Goldberg's final opponent. Interestingly, the former intercontinental champion said he had never had that conversation about that possibility and hinted that Gunther could be the final test of Da Man in WWE, since they had an altercation last year. This seems to confirm that his dreamed combat against the WCW legend will not happen soon.
“He had something with Gunther, I think in Atlanta, so I will assume that this will be his retirement opponent,” said Bron Breakker. (11: 04-11: 11)

When did they have an altercation Gunther and Goldberg in WWE?
WWE laid the foundations for a confrontation between Gunther and Goldberg last year, when the two had an altercado aleted in Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.
The WCW legend was enjoying the show with his son and wife when Gunther went out to promote the newly revealed Crown Jewel championship in Triple H. Seeing Bill Goldberg in Ringside, The General Ring decided to insult the first in front of his family.
The former universal champion lost his calm and jumped his barricade to confront Gunther. However, CCO Triple H took control by making security personnel intervene, who helped keep both men separate.
After the former World Weight Champion left the ring, The Game called the legend to the ring and raised his hand. Da Man looked at the camera and told the Austrian superstar, “You are the next,” almost confirming him as his future opponent.
It will be interesting to see when the veteran returns and against whom he will face in his last fight in WWE.
