
The Assembly of the ACB met this Thursday in Barcelona and supported the president of the Liga Spanish basketball, Antonio Martínafter the latest information that slid that an internal commission investigated the former player, maximum leader since 2018, and the director general José Miguel Calleja for alleged economic benefits and pressures to the arbitral estate.
The ACB broken into three points the conclusions reached this Thursday at the assembly of the CITY CONCAL and remarks at all times that they still have the “unanimous support” of the 18 clubs. Antonio Martín exceeds a battle, but the Runrún remains around the League for information that, in his opinion, “seems to respond to an interested intention to damage the proper functioning and reputation” of the championship.

- We deeply regret the dissemination of confidential information that, instead of contributing to transparency, seems to respond to an interested intention to damage the proper functioning and reputation of the ACB.
- We reaffirm our commitment to the principles of legality, integrity and good governance. Therefore, and how could it be otherwise, we respect and defend the right to the presumption of innocence of all the people mentioned or affected by said filtration. ACB will continue working in defense of the rights of all parties involved.
- The President and the Director General of the ACB have the unanimous support of the clubs and, consequently, we continue to support the exercise of their functions as long as the opposite is not demonstrated.
