Carlos Silva is the current president of TNA Wrestling. It doesn't draw too much attention, at least doors out. But it has certainly been noticed. Not only for their recent statements that soon they will have news about a new media agreement or that they intend to issue live 52 weeks a year. In a recent episode of his podcast, Matt Hardy reveals what the mandamás is like.
► This is Carlos Silva
“There have been direct answers. If you want to ask the superiors, there is a very direct line of whom to go. I mean, there is Tommy Dreamer, there is Carlos … we know who each one is and what is his position. And being honest, Tommy Dreamer and Carlos are types that do not walk nonsense. They give you a clear answer. “
“There was a situation with Ross (Foreman) a while ago, in which We couldn't give people the front row chairs. Because there was some kind of error, and they were going to arrive one or two days late to a great show in which we were. And Ross said, 'Matt, that the Hardy do because they are popular. You will not have problems. Just tell these people that we will not have their chairs today, but we will send them. We do not even want them to be at the audience, because we do not want Nacho cheese or mustard to fall from the hot dogs or something. We want to send them to be perfect. ' And I talked to Carlos about that, and Carlos said, 'No, I take care'. And Carlos entered that VIP area directly, and was the boss. He took a step forward and said, 'Look, these chairs did not arrive. I apologize for that, but we will send them as soon as possible. ' And friend, I am a great defender that in business, honesty is the best policy. That's why I won a lot of respect for Carlos by taking that step and doing that, and not putting Jeff and me in that situation. But at the end of the day, he is the boss, you know? And he said, 'I take responsibility,' or something. And I loved that I have assumed that responsibility.
“So yes, there were times before where people did not receive clear answers, which is very frustrating. And a company does not prosper if they do not receive clear answers. You need two direct people who tell you what things are like, and that's what we have now. It has been very, very good. These guys are motivated, are direct, and we have a talent group that is absolutely incredible. There is no one doing cheap politics to get ahead of others. All work together for the common good. All our talents are selfless and want to give the best possible show. There is no individual policy as in the golden times of WWE or even in AEW, or whatever. Everyone works for the common good and to return to TNA to the map where it should be. And if we get a television contract, that will change the game. Because we have an incredible product right now, and that will change everything for TNA when it happens. ”
