Ethan Pagethe current NXT American champion is one of the main villains of the WWE brand right now. But recently he showed his human side in a encounter with a fan, demonstrating that outside the ring is all the heart. Gazelle de Fun 107 tells him.
► Villain inside, hero outside
“My cousin Tim is a fan of the wrestling of a lifetime. It can recite data, statistics and stories of decades ago, and, unlike most fans, sometimes support heels, the name given to villains in the world of wrestling. Ethan Page is one of those Heels, a self -proclaimed bad boy from Canada. But when Tim finally met him, it was clear that outside the ring he has nothing like a villain.
When Tim felt overwhelmed (during a fighter meet and greet in Cojo's Toy World) he had trouble finding the right words, all he could say was: 'I'm sorry, I'm in the spectrum and my words do not come out at this time'. Without hesitation, Ethan immediately made him feel the most important person in the room. He started a conversation with him, reassured him and gave him all his attention.
The moment that really excited Tim was when Page looked at him and said: 'It's a pleasure to meet you, Tim'. For Tim, meeting Ethan Page was a dream, but realizing that he was just as excited to meet him was incredible. On the way back home, he kept smiling.
Page not only signed an autograph and continued with the next. He posed for photos, gave Tim a signed courtesy and took the time to connect to a personal level. From the first fan in line to the last, they all received the same type of love and respect.”
