Arnaut Danjuma made it clear that his ambition is total in his presentation in Mestalla. “I am a player who have a lot of ambition, I want to win and that's why I have chosen Valencia. Carlos Corberán is a Mr. who has shown me that we have the same rules, wants to win, wants to grow and are the things I have inside me,” he said from the VIP box.
“It is true that the club has suffered a little in recent years, but that means it is a big club because if you were little you do not suffer. I cannot promise that we are going to win the League, but we are going to work every day with hard work,” said the player, who has signed with Valencia until 2028.
Danjuma will be three years in the Valencian team, a period of time that gives it stability. “For me it means something big to sign three years, I am here for a long time and I have time to enjoy and help the team. For me it is very important, I was tired of going from one place to another. There is no move, I do not have to move my family and they are fine. I am in a country that I know and for me all things outside the football are arranged.”
The former Villarreal acknowledged the honor of dressing the Che shirt and promised his delivery: “We have a team with a lot of experience and quality, which has grown a lot about last year. It is a good opportunity for me and I want to help the club as I can.” Meanwhile, on his position in the field, the attacker was flexible. “For me it is not important where I enjoy the most, the important thing is where the coach thinks I can play. I don't care if I'm ahead or extreme, goalkeeper I can't,” he joked.

The player praised Corberán several times and revealed that the conversation with the coach was key in his decision: “He convinced me quite fast, then there are the details of the agreement, but it has been done quickly and naturally. My agents informed me of the interest of Valencia and it is something that I value a lot. When I spoke with Corberán I had no doubt that the club will have a great future.”
In that sense, he made it clear that Valencia was his first option: “I have received offers, but I have signed very fast with Valencia because it is an honor to be here. They want to grow, win and when I was young I grew up seeing Valencia. I had no doubt that I wanted to play here and wanted to meet Mestalla's fans, I have played here as rival and it's not easy. I can't wait to start.”
“Valencia is a big club with a big story. They have won many titles and in the future it is the way they want to do. We have to win them again. It is our goal to return to Europe, you have to improve and work. We really want and we are going to do everything we can,” he said.
Finally, the Dutch explained his particular goal celebration imitating a Cobra: “It is a gesture for my family and friends, to tell them that we have suffered when we were small, and if I grow up, we grow together.”
