Two weeks from Death Before Dishonor, there was a new weekly Episode of Roh, filmed on July 31 under the amparo of the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago (Illinois, USA), which not to lose habit could be seen via Honorclub.
As the main announced fight, Xelhua, the young talent of the CMLL, had a “Proving Ground” fight against Lee Moriarty with an opportunity for the Pure Roh championship on the table. And the presence of Mexicans was not there, because Flying Jr., Sorcerero, The Beast Mortos and deceased (making the latter his debut in Roh) faced Ar Fox, Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentic) and Alex Zayne.
In addition, duel was scheduled between Willie Mack and Gringo Crazy, between Taya Valkyrie and Leila Gray and between Volohiro Ishii and the Ortora Oro Mensah, now simply gold (also debutant in Roh).
Results Roh on Honorclub (August 7, 2025) | Mystic and Golden Mask vs. Blake Christian and Lee Johnson
► Pure Xelhua

- Flying Jr., Sorcerero, The Beast Mortos and deceased defeated Ar Fox, Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentic) and Alex Zayne. Sorcero will look for the Roah World Championship that carries bandit at Death Before Dishonor and put Zayne on flat backs. Funny fight, basically designed to boost “the alchemist of the ring.” Dead, in his first performance under the spotlights of Roh, he had some sequences where he could shine. The rudos wanted to beat after, but bandit, Volohiro Ishii and Brody King did the Salve.
- Tony Nese and Ariya Divari challenged golden and neon mask. According to Mark Sterling, they are unbeaten under Mexican wrestling rules.
- Willie Mack defeated Gringo crazy. It is always good to see a new involvement of Mack, who has been since March without appearing for Roh. Reason that he had to win, after his sapito -style plate, although I am not sure that there is a creative direction for him.
- Lance Archer defeated Ren Jones. Archer's rapid victories already lose grace after so many times seen, when the veteran could be better used.
- There was video about the star scheduled between Lee Moriarty and Xelhua.
- Promo recorded by Mina Shirakawa, in which she wanted to remember that Athena injured her during the Aew All In: Texas Gauntlet casino and that she would snatch her Womenil Roh World Championship. By the way, in Shirakawa theory is the world television champion Roh Interine, but the company does not mention it. Yes, the Athena vs. Shirakawa for Death Before Dishonor.
- Leila Gray (with Christopher Daniels) defeated Taya Valkyrie (with Johnny TV and MXM Collection). Gray increasingly develops between twelve strings and being in a faction sponsored by Daniels should drive it. But as I usually say, fighting once every month and a half, it will be complicated. Valkyrie surrendered via Dragon Sleop, after Daniels frustrated an interference by the once John Morrison.
- Willie Mack and Nick Wayne had a encounter in “Backstage”, with the “Chocolate Thunder” exposing their intentions to fight for the World Television Championship. Well look, there are certain creative plans for Willie Mack. This and Wayne will be measured today in a Special Episode of Roh that can be seen through the promoter's YouTube channel.
- Volume Ishii defeated Gold. With more minutes, this could have been a very good clash, because Gold managed not to clash under the resort of Ishii, until fell via Brainbuster. Short struggles like that are utility.
- Proving Ground, Pure Rules Fight: Lee Moriarty vs. Xelhua ended in a tie. A pity that Roh does not have much follow -up, because Xelhua combined here one of those performances that create adherents (Tony, it is time for you to show the poblano under AEW's spotlights), putting Moriarty in trouble until the last second of the regulatory 10 minutes. It was literally sold that the monarch, if not for the bell, had patted the canvas. Xelhua thus obtained an attempt for the pure roh championship and will charge it in Death Before Dishonor.
- Within the mediocrity in which Roh's weekly program has been installed, this edition was above such average. An entertaining “Opener”, a return that led to a titular struggle, an interesting debut and a good stellar propitiator of a rematch. At least, it was made to present decent amount of “in-ring” factor and almost everything scheduled distilled a narrative purpose. Among the most enjoyable episodes I remember in recent months (there have not been many). 6/10.
