Delta Air Lines and United Airlines have been sued by passengers who denounce that they were charged an extra for a window seat, but ended up sitting next to a wall.

The demands, presented separately against the two US airlines, claim millions of dollars in damages for more than one million customers of each company.

The plaintiffs claim that companies do not warn during the reservation process that the seats have no window, despite charging a higher price for them.

United did not want to comment because it was an ongoing legal issue. The BBC has contacted Delta to request its comments.
