The FIDE 1 team became champion, with honors of the U-16 Youth Chess Olympiad that ended this Friday at the Dann Carlton Hotel in Barranquilla.
The champion won nine wins and reached the golden medal without falling into the general team confrontation. Integrated by four players born in Russia, the FIDE 1 sealed the championship defeating 3.5 by 0.5 to FIDE 2, made up of Belarusian players.
