The Sunday day of date eight of the Betplay League left markers loaded with emotion and key results in the fight for the first places.

In Manizales, Tolima showed his solidity again and beat Eleven Caldas 1-0 with goal from Samuel Velásquez, a result that allows him to consolidate in the upper part of the table. The albo box, meanwhile, fails to take off and remains mired in irregularity.

In Santa Marta one of the most vibrant duels of the day was lived: Alliance achieved a spectacular comeback and defeated Unión Magdalena 3-2. Fortaleza, on the other hand, gave an important blow by beating Santa Fe 2-0.

The most striking duel was in Campín, where Millionaires thrashed the Junior leader 3-0 after the departure of coach David González. The Bogota team showed a renewed face, with intensity and effectiveness against the arch, achieving a key triumph that revitalizes it in the table. Junior, on the other hand, was surprised.

The date will be completed on Monday, when Deportivo Cali, from 6:00 pm, visit Tunja to face Boyacá Chicó.
