The Sumud Flotilla, a set of ships that has Gaza's destination to wear help, has been attacked again by a drone in the Tunecino port of Sidi Bou Said (Northeast Costa). As happened on Tuesday, the crew has extinguished the fire quickly and there are no injuries.

This incident occurred before Wednesday's midnight on the Alma ship, with British flag, and caused a fire on the deck.

This is the second attack on a vessel of the flotilla, after the organization denounced a fire caused by a drone in the 'family ship', one of the main vessels, with a Portuguese flag, a fact that the Tunisian authorities denied shortly after despite the fact that it is recorded.

“These repeated attacks occur during the intensification of Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza and constitute an attempt orchestrated to distract and derail our mission,” the organization said in a statement.

The two affected ships belong to the flotilla that came out from Spain at the beginning of September and that anchored in a port of Tunisia waiting to resume Gaza's crossing on Wednesday with more Tunisian vessels.

Members of the family ship claimed to have seen a drone flying over the roof that threw an object that causes the first fire. However, the Tunisian authorities said shortly after the fire occurred by the burning of life jackets due to “a lighter or a clue” and ruled out a “hostile act.” In the images it is seen that it is an object that falls from above.

Members of the second affected ship denounced on their social networks which ensures that it was a “second attack” in just over 24 hours.

“The device is still here, (on the ship) so no one can deny what happened,” said Italo-Egipcia singer and activist Leila Hegazy, on her Instagram account.

“The Sumud Global Flotilla remains impávida. Our peaceful journey to break Israel's illegal siege to Gaza and maintain unwavering solidarity with its people advances with determination and resolution,” the organization said after the two incidents.
