The list of calls that the Presidency of the Generalitat has sent to the investigation commission of the dana in the Corts Valencianes (full document at the end of the information) shows that in the midst of the crisis the Valencian president did not worry too much about monitoring the emergency. The regional secretary of Transparency has sent a document that includes the calls that Carlos Mazón claimed to have received or made on October 29, practically a carbon copy of his conference at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid, and that simply lists a series of communications that the leader of the Valencian PP maintained on the afternoon of the flood. Despite the brief nature of the document, it reflects that, in the midst of the crisis, the president did not speak by phone with any member of the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (Cecopi) for an hour.

The president's team indicates that it only provides calls from the corporate telephone number of the head of the Consell, it does not indicate whether they are received or issued, nor the duration, nor if there are missed or canceled calls. A batch of the cell phone of a “collaborator” of the president is included, since he is left without coverage in l'Eliana. These communications are not justified with any official document, nor the invoice for these phones, as the opposition has claimed. It is simply a list.

Mazón has insisted ad nauseam that he was attentive to monitoring the cold drop and was promptly informed, but his calls reflect intermittent interest. The Minister of the Interior, Salomé Pradas, calls him at 5:37 p.m., when the crisis cabinet – the Cecopi – has been in operation for less than half an hour from l'Eliana, and they talk for two minutes. It's the first time he picks up the phone since the meal starts. Pradas calls him again at 6:16 p.m. and they talk for seven minutes; They finish speaking at 6:23 p.m. according to this chronology. It is known who makes the call and the duration from the documentation provided by the former counselor to the case.

Immediately afterwards, in just five minutes Carlos Mazón has five different telephone conversations: at 6:25 p.m. Salomé Pradas calls him again and they talk for 38 seconds. Later, at 6:25 p.m. according to Mazón's story, he speaks with the president of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicente Mompó, who is next to Pradas at the Cecopi. He calls him again at 6:27 p.m. At 6:28 p.m. he called the mayor of Cullera, the socialist Jordi Mayor, who has recounted the brief content of the call on numerous occasions. Mayor also said that Mazón called him through the WhatsApp application and told him that that was his personal number. At 6:30 p.m. Mazón calls Pradas and they talk for 33 seconds.

After this last communication with Pradas, the calls become less frequent. The president now only contacts his closest team. The Presidency does not report any others until 6:48 p.m., when the president speaks with his general director of Communication. At 6:57 p.m. he speaks twice with the PP spokesperson in the Valencian Courts and his number two in the party, Juanfran Pérez Llorca. Afterwards, according to this version of the Presidency, there is no call until 7:34 p.m., when he speaks with the regional secretary of Infrastructure, Javier Sendra, who is in the Metrovalencia command center. There are 36 minutes without, according to his record, speaking to anyone.

Sendra's call to Mazón represents a kind of activation for the Valencian president, who makes four calls in four minutes. Call the regional secretary of the Presidency, José Manuel Cuenca, at 7:41 p.m.; at 7:42 p.m. to the general director of the cabinet secretary, Pilar Montes; at 7:43 p.m. to the Minister of the Interior, Salomé Pradas, and at 7:44 p.m. to the general director of Organization, María Jesús García Frígols.

In this way, President Mazón does not contact anyone who is in person at Cecopi between 6:30 p.m. and 7:43 p.m., when he speaks again with Minister Pradas. The head of the Emergency Department has called him twice and he has not responded. In the minutes that the former councilor presents to the court there are two “canceled” calls on her device, one at 7:10 p.m. and another at 7:36 p.m. Meanwhile, the councilor has spoken with her right-hand man, Cayetano García, the regional secretary of the Presidency. After the battery of calls to his team at the Palau, the president will call Pradas again at 8:10 p.m., a call that he hid in his conference at the Ritz. A call that Pradas did make does not appear in the Presidency record, at 8:19 p.m., nine minutes before Mazón appears at the door of the L'Eliana Emergency Center, according to the documentation sent to the court through the security cameras.

Unlike the former Minister responsible for Emergencies, Salomé Pradas, who has provided a notarial record with the details of all her calls on October 29, or the regional secretary Emilio Argüeso, who has even delivered his WhatsApp messages, the Presidency document does not reflect the duration of the calls, whether they were received or issued, if there were missed calls, much less the invoice proving that they were made, as They have been asking for PSPV and Compromís for months.

Mazón spent months ensuring that he had spoken with affected mayors, but in the manuscript provided by Transparencia to the Corts only the call to the mayor of Cullera, the socialist Jordi Mayor, appears, which he himself reported. There are three other leaders with whom Mazón contacts who are also mayors, but that is not their main institutional responsibility: the president of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicente Mompó -mayor of Gavarda- and the regional secretary of Infrastructure, Javier Sendra, who is mayor of Planes (Alicante) and was in the FGV command center watching how the metro facilities were flooded, and Juanfran Pérez Llorca, who He is a spokesperson for the PP (and this is stated by the Presidency) and mayor of Finestrat (Alicante). Mompó assured that Mazón called him at 5:45 p.m. to ask for the contact of the mayor of Utiel, Ricardo Gabaldón, also from the PP. He requested it two hours after the UME was mobilized to assist this municipality, but there is no record that the president called the mayor on October 29.

The Valencian president also assured that he communicated during the crisis with the president of the PP and leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. The national leader assured that he was informed “in real time” by the regional leader. The list of calls provided does not include any with the PP leader until 9:27 p.m., when the alert messages have already been sent and the situation has been critical for some time. It is the umpteenth contradiction of a leader who has been fleeing forward for eleven months, without providing documentary support or justification for his actions. The Valencian president also did not provide any communication before 5:37 p.m., when he was eating at El Ventorro. From Pradas' call log, it is known that he called him before, while he was eating. He made a call at 4:29 p.m., which is listed as “cancelled,” and then spoke with the president's team.

The team of the head of the Consell indicates that it only provides calls from the corporate telephone number of the head of the Consell, it does not indicate whether they are received or issued, nor the duration, nor if there are missed or canceled calls. A batch of the cell phone of a “collaborator” of the president is included, since he is left without coverage in l'Eliana. There are three calls with Teresa Ribera starting at 8:22 p.m. – the minister had to send a text message via SMS that arrived at 8:20 p.m. to Mazón's phone – and four calls to the president of Telefónica. Mazón had no coverage in his terminal and the l'Eliana emergency center was left without signal.
