The Undertaker is considered one of the best WWE superstars of all time. It is also one of the most respected legends in history, so it was surprising to hear that The Deadman and another member of the Hall of Fame felt disrespected by an important decision of the company in 2009.

One of the best fighting in the history of Wrestlemania was the first encounter between The Phenom and Shawn Michaels in Wrestlemania 25 in Houston, Texas. The two living legends offered a show compared to more than 72,000 people and in their native state as well.

The Heartbreak Kid and The Undertaker returned to see their legendary fight in a recent episode of WWE Playback On YouTube. The demon of the Valley of Death recalled that they had been told that the fight would be in third place on the billboard. He and Michaels looked at each other, feeling disrespected before they finally placed them in sixth place.

“I think we were originally third, and then they moved us to, what, (sixth)? I will never forget the visual contact. A word was not said. There was visual contact between us and it was like, 'Are you joking?' There are 80 years of experience here, some stellar events of Wrestlemania. (1:42 – 2:39)

The initial decision made the two legends so furious that they put together one of the best fighting in history. He also led to a long and continuous story that ended in Wrestlemania 28, when The Phenom beat Triple H inside Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as a special guest referee. This was announced as the “end of an era.”

Jake Roberts knew early that The Undertaker was a special talent

In the early days of The Undertaker's career in WWE, he was an ally of Jake “The Snake” Roberts. However, it was something brief, and they even fought in Wrestlemania VIII, with The Deadman coming out victorious.

Recently speaking in the podcast Six Feet UnderRoberts revealed that he had the feeling from the beginning that The Phenom was a very special talent.

“From the beginning, Mark (Calaway) had something special, and I think that is one of the reasons why I associated with him,” Roberts said.

Roberts's instincts were successful, since The Undertaker became the biggest character created in WWE's story.
