The NXT episode of April 1 closed with an end that left everyone speaking. The star event of the night presented an important confrontation for the American title, and the newcomer former Aew Ricky Saints sought to achieve something huge: winning a championship faster than anyone from his debut in NXT.

With Shawn Spears on his way, Saints had a great challenge ahead. The fight acquired an air of great event with Mike Rome present for presentations in the ring, and things were even more complicated when The Cullen appeared in Ringside trying to bow the balance. For a while, it worked: Spears kept control thanks to the distraction.

But Ricky Saints changed things in the final stretch. The crowd supported him and he returned to combat strongly. Saints connected his final movement and obtained the counting of three, becoming the new NXT American champion in record time.

Just when the confetti could have fallen, Ethan Page broke into the scene and ruined the celebration. Page attacked Saints by surprise, took the title and lifted him high on a fallen champion while the screen faded black. Without music, without warning, just a statement.

This type of end leaves more questions than answers. Is Ethan Page pointing to the American title below?

The NXT female American championship has been vacant

Stephanie Vaquer and Ava opened Nxt where Ava said that, although Vaquer held both titles last week, the American title deserves to be defended frequently. Both agreed that Vaquer should give up the title, and a new champion will be determined in Stand & Deliver in a fighting of six women stairs.

Vaquer said he would agree to give up the title under the condition that he can appoint his opponent at Stand & Deliver.

It was then that Jordynne Grace went out to defend his case. Jaida Parker interrupted her and the two discussed who should get the opportunity for the title. They ended up fighting, with security, going out to separate them.
