The appearance of Wwe Gunther's superstar in this week's RAW turned out to be very significant. After the main program, Wrestling Analyst Sam Roberts suggested a powerful booking decision to further consolidate the personality of the 37 -year -old star.
The ring general faced face to face with Jey use by the World Heavyweight World Championship in the June 9 episode of RAW. This was his first meeting from Wrestlemania 41, where Yeet's teacher had defeated his opponent for the title. In an amazing turn of the events, Gunther has now recovered the World Heavyweight World Championship, ending the 51 -day reign of the latter.
Speaking in your podcast Notsam WrestlingSam Roberts reflected on Goldberg's established history to overcome competitors, including Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt, every time he returned before. The analyst then imagined a possible scenario where the ring general would completely destroy the member of the WWE Hall of Fame if a fight between the two after the imminent return of the latter to the company.
“Goldberg beat (Brock) Lesnar. Goldberg beat Bray (Wyatt). Goldberg, he expires people. Now, if you want to stay faithful to Gunther's character, that would be the initial thought, as (sic) I would love to enter, 'Oh, man, they ended with the reign of Jey just to put the title to Goldberg so that Goldberg would overcome him, Goldberg to defeat Goldberg, Goldberg. Sam Roberts says Gunther could experience a great change in WWE
In the same video, Sam Roberts discussed the potential for a massive change in Gunther's character. This speculation arises after the victory of the worldwide heavyweight champion over jey use.
WWE analyst said:
“I would not be surprised if, before this reign ends, Gunther is a babyface. I think he goes to Babyface territory. The beauty and integrity of Gunther's character is that nothing really has to change. Just fight against different people, and now it's a babyface.”
Fans will have to wait to see if WWE has plans for a possible fight between Gunther and Goldberg.
