
Barça announced this Friday the extension of Antonio Bazán (29 years old) until June 30, 2026. The Navarro has made an important hole in the rotation of Carlos Ortega and will fulfill his second season as Barça.
Antonio Bazán arrived in Barcelona last summer after 11 seasons in the Asobal League by Helvetia Anaitasuna. “I am very happy to be able to continue here for another year. For me it means a lot. It has been a very good year, I have learned a lot. In the end I have been to the best team in the world. I have learned from the coaching staff, the players and from all over the world that has surrounded me. I am very grateful for confidence,” he explained in statements for the club.

Antonio Bazán will have two of the best in the world in his position: Luis Frade and Ludovic Fàbregas, announced during the week. “My role will be to continue in the same line of work. I will try to help in everything that I can, to contribute to everyone who can. I know that the demand to be here is very high and you have to always be in one hundred percent. This is the one I try to give,” he added.
The Navarro has played 10 games at the EHF Champions League after compatible with their medical work with the handball during the first months, joining as a player of the staff in winter.
