Iker Muniain has officialized today what had already been intuiting for days. The former Athletic player has announced his farewell to San Lorenzo and probably football. The Navarro returns to Bilbao to be with his children and does not rule out the possibility of undertaking his career as a coach.
The Spanish midfielder Iker Muniain anticipated Friday that “there are many possibilities” to retire from professional football, while confirming his departure from San Lorenzo Argentino.
“It is the first time I consider stopping playing. There are many possibilities for that to happen, and well, I will have to continue meditating,” Muniain said at a press conference offered today in Buenos Aires to say goodbye to San Lorenzo.

From San Lorenzo I will continue to say that it is a very very special club with a unique identity and with a courage to face everything huge.
