Juan Fernando Quintero spoke this Friday about the rumors that indicated that he would have been the victim of an alleged scam in the framework of his arrival in América de Cali in January this year. The Antioquia midfielder referred to the situation through a publication on his social networks.

The journalist Pipe Sierra published that América and Juanfer would have been scammed by an investor who would have committed to cover the costs of the footballer's signing. For that reason, according to the communicator, the player would have left the match against Independiente Medellín this Thursday.

However, Quintero denied in a publication he shared in his accounts of X (Twitter) and Instagram the accusations that Sierra did about it and said: “I am not a victim of any of fraud and who knows me knows how I am, and the one who is not, because it is not my fault.”
