WWE's undisputed champion, Cody Rhodes, faces the most important battle of his career in Wrestlemania 41. He must succeed over a 16 -time world champion that has allied with The Rock. And who knows, the final boss could bring more of his associates to annihilate Cody in Mania.
Until now, Cody Rhodes has been alone in his fight against these giants. However, WWE could have suggested that two superstars will come to help Cody in Wrestlemania 41. It is CM Punk and the teacher of 619, Rey Mysterio. WWE's two legends could appear in the main event of Wrestlemania 41 to help the American nightmare.
The superstar and Mysterio joined Cody Rhodes in a fight not televised in Raw's last episode against The Judgment Day after the program came out of the air. The trio also had fun after combat, and Rhodes and Punk even paid tribute to Rey Mysterio.
The possibility that CM Punk and Mysterio come out in support of Rhodes in Mania also arises because both are babyfaces in the program. In addition, CM Punk is no longer the Rhodes challenger in Wrestlemania 41, since it is scheduled for a triple threat combat against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Rey Mysterio is not in the fight for the title in Mania, and will probably enter a rivalry with Chad Gable soon.
Since Kevin Owens is no longer a friend of Rhodes, and Sami Zayn is out, there is a good probability that these two go out to help Cody in Wrestlemania 41.
Stone Cold Steve Austin could also return in Wrestlemania 41 to attend Cody Rhodes
The return of the Texas rattle snake in Wrestlemania 41 is highly anticipated by fans. Austin's return is also expected due to his historic rivalry with The Rock. He has faced The Rock in three Wrestlemania events.
Since The Rock will be there to make sure John Cena gets his victory, Austin could return to help Cody Rhodes. In addition, his confrontation with The Rock after almost two decades would be an exciting show for fans.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was even rumored to appear last year, but for some reason, his conversations with WWE did not prosper. However, since WrestleMania will take place in Nevada this year, where Austin currently lives, there is a great possibility that he will return to WWE after three years.
