Iyo Sky surprised WWE fans when he ended with Rhea Ripley's reign as a women's world champion a month before Wrestlemania 41.
Although it was something unexpected, Sky's addition to the long -awaited individual program between The Eradicator and the winner of the Women's Elimination Chamber Match this year, Bianca Belair, was not justified, according to the veteran of wrestling and exmanager Konnan.
Speaking in K100, Disco Inferno criticized the preparation for WrestleMania 41. He was especially critical about the fight for the women's world title in RAW. Inferno argued why WWE chose to add the Japanese star to the mixture when Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair was the high profile fight that everyone wanted to see:
“I think they are ruining this Wrestlemania billboard. I'm not interested in Rhea, Bianca and Io Sky. I was interested in Rhea and Bianca. Are you okay?” Said Disco Inferno. “They are doing other things instead of their most attractive clashes. It's very strange. I don't know what is happening.”
Konnan agreed, stating that Io should not have been introduced in this story. However, the formermanager clarified that this did not come from a place of hatred towards The Genius of the Sky.
“There was no reason to add to Io or give him the title. That is not hate, we are just talking about the story,” said Konnan. (From 18:50 to 7:25 PM)

Will Io Sky lose the World Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley in RAW?
After the repeated attempts of Rhea Ripley for sabotaging the fight between Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair in Wrestlemania 41, RAW's general manager, Adam Pearce, scheduled a rematch fight against Sky.
The meeting is scheduled for RAW next week at The O2 Arena in London, with The Est of WWE as a special guest referee.
Pearce gave both women an ultimatum and said the winner will defend the World Women's Championship against Bianca Belair in Wrestlemania 41.
