Joe Tessitore welcomed the public with outer shots of the Intuit Dome, before passing to Bakersfield, where SmackDown was performed. Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Stephanie Vaquer, Naomi, Giulia, Roxanne Perez and the four members of the new Paul Heyman group (led by Seth Rollins, with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and another un specified member) were shown walking Backstage, outside and in several places. Heyman's group went to the ring for the first segment.
Initial segment: El Group of Paul Heyman vs. SOLO SIKOA, Jacob Fatu y Jc Mateo:
Seth Rollins, leader of the Heyman group, entered with his team to the ring, briefly enjoying fans singing their theme, although the crowd went to bark in the style of Bron Breakker and then chanted “cm punk!”. Rollins said “Bakersfield” and made his usual introduction, proclaiming that in Money in the Bank (MITB) he will take everything and control the industry. The fans chanted “OTC!” (In reference to Roman Reigns), and Rollins said Reigns is on the “Island of Irrevance.”
Rollins said that anyone who interposes will suffer the same destination as Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns and CM Punk, who are out of action. He contrasted his commitment to fans with Reigns's indifference and assured that no one can stop him.
The music of Solo Sikoa interrupted, and Sikoa went out with Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo. Sikoa questioned Rollins's claims, saying that his group could stop him. He compared Rollins's group with an “own Bloodline”, mocking if Breakker was the equivalent of Jey use and reed Sami Zayn. He greeted Heyman with a “we haven't seen each other for a long time.”
Rollins defended Breakker as the future of the industry, called Sikoa irrelevant and said his family would betray him. He made fun of Fatu, calling him “the dog of Sol.” Sikoa took off his jacket, and Breakker and Fatu faced each other. Heyman's group left the ring, finishing the segment.
Post-segment: Jimmy use attacked Sikoa and his group, preparing his fight against JC Mateo.
Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo:
Sikoa distracted use from the APON, and Fatu confronted use. Mateo tried to attack, but hit Fatu by mistake, demolishing it. Use took the opportunity to roll Matthew and win.
Post-famat: Fatu left alone, while Mateo shouted at him, showing frustration.
Backstage segments:
Zelina (Vega) and Giulia: Zelina (without “Vega” in the initial graph) confronted Giulia, saying that he would have to tear the American title from his lifeless hands. Giulia praised her trust, and Zelina moved away as Giulia watched.
Jacob Fatu and Damian Priest: Fatu met Priest, who said he understood his situation and not envy him. Priest announced that he will go for the American title. Fatu replied that, if Priest does not comply, it will be at the end of the row.
Zelina vs. Piper Niven (Bakersfield Brawl):
Niven interrupted a jump from Vega, but Giulia appeared, attacking Green and Fyre with the Kendo Stick. Vega took the opportunity to PowerBombear Niven through a table from the second rope, winning the fight.
Post-famat: Giulia raised Vega's hand, but then attacked it and posed with the American title.
Jey use, Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Use: Jey was in the dressing room when Cody approached. Jimmy entered, and both assured Jey that they would worry about the next day (MITB) later, asking him if he was fine.
Aleister Black Vignette: Black accused the Knight of stealing his victory in the MITB qualifier. He said he wants to strip Knight of his safety and face him to see what remains of him, promising to shake his hand if Knight defeats him.
LA Knight vs. Aleister Black:
Black failed a Black Mass, and Knight connected a Neckbreaker, a powerrslam and a Elbow failed from the rope. After exchanges, Knight executed a Burning Hammer, but Black left the ring. Seth Rollins appeared and applied a STOMP to Knight, causing disqualification.
Post-famat: Rollins tried another STOMP, but Black stopped him. Breakker Spearó Black, Reed applied a Senton to Knight, and Breakker spent Knight again.
Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce announced that next week the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will begin, with the winners receiving titular opportunities in Summerslam.
Byron Saxton interviewed Jade Cargill about the Queen of the Ring tournament. Cargill was called “the storm” and said he was ready to destroy. Charlotte Flair interrupted her, claiming to be the only queen. Tiffany Stratton appeared and went to the ring for segment.
Legacy of the ghost talked about his fight of six men in Worlds Collide, praising his opponents.
Interview Backstage: American Made, Andrade y penta:
Chad Gable expressed confidence for his fight against Viking in Worlds Collide for the title AAA Mega. Andrade spoke in Spanish to Gable, and Penta made fun of him in Spanish. Gable, angry, said the great American would destroy them in MITB. Aldis appeared and agreed a fight between Penta and Andrade vs. The Creed Brothers.
Segmento: Tiffy Time con Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley y Stephanie Vaquer:
Tiffany Stratton said everyone in MITB will try to emulate their success last year, but the world will revolve around it after the event. He asked the crowd to shout “Tiffy Time!”, And they did.
Rhea Ripley came out, remembering that he has never been in a MITB fight, but knows what it is to be a champion and strange him. Stephanie Vaquer interrupted, followed by Alexa Bliss, while the following fight was announced.
Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer y Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi, Giulia y Roxanne Perez:
Bliss applied a sister Abigail DDT to Giulia, and Ripley tried a riptide to Perez, who counterattacked with a spike DDT. Naomi left the fight, leaving Perez alone. Ripley, Vaquer and Bliss attacked Perez, and Ripley ended with a riptide.
Segs backstage: Should Syo, JC Community JC Community:
Sikoa spoke with Mateo, who hesitated about Fatu's loyalty. Sikoa said that while Fatu follows, everything will be fine, but he called him unintelling, selfish and “all gas, without brain.” When leaving, it was revealed that Fatu listened to everything from a corner.
Vignette de los Wyatt Sicks:
Instead of the “Sign of the Night”, a VHS video of Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy was broadcast. He said the Wyatt Sicks returned to combat apathy and take what they owe them, not by nostalgia. He warned that the time of repentance passed and that no one will forget his conviction.
The SmackDown couples division (Street Profits, Fraxiom, McMG, #DIY) saw the video. Montez Ford asked to focus on the Wyatts, not on the titles. Fraxiom and McMG expressed their desire to face them, and they all left, leaving Aldis alone.
Penta y Andrade vs. The Creed Brothers (Julius y Brutus Creed):
Chad Gable distracted the referee and tried to take Penta's mask, but Viking appeared and neutralized it. In chaos, Penta connected a Mexican destroyer Brutus for victory.
Post-famat: Heyman's group returned, surrounded the ring and started a brawl. Breakker Spearó to Andrade, Reed applied a Senton to Penta, and Rollins I hit Stomps to both. Reed ended with a tsunami to Penta, and the officers intervened.
Paul Heyman and the group:
Heyman took a microphone, calling the audience “Bakersfield bitches.” He said that his group does not fear the future because they are the future, and that everything predicted by Rollins has been fulfilled. He proclaimed Rollins and his group as the “avant -garde of WWE's destiny.”
He said Rollins will win MITB and, whenever you want, will transform the industry according to your vision. He said his greatest honor will be to present Rollins as champion, but Cody Rhodes's music interrupted him.
Final segment: Cody Rhodes, Jey Use, John Cena and Logan Paul:
Cody faced Heyman's group in the ring, with Rollins by moving towards him. Jey's music used, and Jey entered through the crowd. After a cut, Heyman's group had left the ring.
Cody asked what they wanted to argue, mentioning John Cena, which generated songs of “Let's Go Dinner/Dinner SUCKS!” He compared Cena with Paul to “Michael Hayes with the Hardy Boyz”, but the line did not connect.
Jey took the microphone, and the crowd went, but dinner music interrupted him. Cena entered with the songs “John Cena Socks” and asked to be presented as the best of all time. Logan Paul appeared and attacked Cody and Jey.
Dinner applied an AA to Jey, and Paul connected a Paul-Verizor and Frog Splaps to Cody and Jey. Cena said that no one will save fans or wrestling, stating that it has been warning that it will destroy the dream of what WWE is. He said he and Paul, the “last real champion” and the “future face of WWE”, will take the titles.
Dinner shouted “They can't handle the truth!” (Playing with R-Truth), while fans chanted “We Want Truth”. He called the hypocritical audience, losers, and said it was his last time in Bakersfield. He affirmed that the winners write the story, and he and Paul lifted the world titles while Cody and Jey sold pain.
