WWE Sheamus's superstar has been absent from television since the Royal Rumble of 2025. His last individual combat saw him lose his fight for the intercontinental championship against Bron Breakker. Now, the Celtic warrior has said he would like to face Finn Balor after his return.
The first universal champion is a member of The Judgment Day. Like Sheamus, the prince also recently failed to defeat the unpredictable Badss for the Intercontinental Championship.
Interestingly, the Celtic warrior recently published a new image with Balor on his Instagram page after WWE's live show in Belfast during the current European tour. To the headline, the former king of the ring wrote that he would like to enter a rivalry with Balor.
“… a Sheamus rivalry against Balor would feed generations, although I love the boy. Thank you #WwebeLFAST,” he wrote.
Both Irish fighters are after the intercontinental championship at this time. Since Bron Breakker does not have an opponent for WrestleMania 41 so far, Sheamus and Balor could compete for the number one contender position.
In addition, RAW's general manager, Adam Pearce, could also include them together with AJ Styles and Penta in a fight of several men in Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see if the Celtic warrior manages to fulfill his desire to face the Judgment Day member in the future.
Sheamus might not get to Wrestlemania 41
Sheamus has been chasing the intercontinental championship during almost his entire career. Despite this, the intercontinental title is the only championship that has not won. Before WWE's live show in Belfast, Celtic Guerrero published a tweet where he seemed confident in dethroning Bron Breakker as an intercontinental champion.
“Belfast … my way to Wrestlemania begins tonight. Bron Breakker will not leave my country with the intercontinental title. Are they ready for a success ??” wrote.
Despite his self -confidence and a local crowd encouraging him, the Irish failed to defeat WWE's dog once again. For now, the former king of the ring has no other active rivalries, now that Pete Dunne seems to be in a rivalry with Penta.
Therefore, unless you get another opportunity for the intercontinental title, your chances of reaching Wrestlemania 41 seem scarce. It will be interesting to see if the four -time WWE champion will appear on the billboard of the shows shows in Las Vegas.
