This week's episode of WWE SmackDown was broadcast live from Bologna, Italy. The program took place in front of an animated crowd while the company continues on the road to Wrestlemania 41 next month in Las Vegas.
CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins starred in a fight to close this week's program, and there were several insinuations of possible fighting in Wrestlemania 41. However, some important mistakes were also made during the show tonight.

#5. Cody Rhodes did not appear in this week's episode of WWE SMackDOWN
The champion in
Disposal of WWE, Cody Rhodes, will defend his title against John Cena at Wrestlemania 41. The leader of the ancestone won the Men's Elimination Chamber Match earlier this month and he became Heel to align with The Rock after the victory. Rhodes and Cena made a promo last Monday night in Raw, and the American nightmare rebuked the legend for betraying fans.
Neither Cody Rhodes nor John Cena made an appearance in the episode of SmackDown tonight. Rhodes could have done a monitoring promo after confrontation with dinner at RAW, but did not appear at all in this edition of the Blue Brand. Instead, Rhodes and Cena will have another promo in RAW next Monday night.
#4. Jacob Fatu's defeat was not seen well
Jacob Fatu fought against Braun Strowman tonight at WWE SmackDown. The two stars faced Saturday Night's Main Event earlier this year, and the monster of all the monsters won the victory for disqualification. The defeat cost Fatu an opportunity for the United States Championship. Strowman will challenge the Megaestrella for the title next Friday night as a result of tonight's victory.
Tonight's fight had the same result after only Sikoa and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline interfered. Sikoa and Tonga got involved while Fatu clearly had control, and did not see it well on WWE television. Fatu and Sikoa then argued after racks after defeat, since it is rumored that the two stars will face Wrestlemania.
#3. Bianca Belair did not appear on SmackDown
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were the champions in reigning female couples when the former AEW star was attacked last November in SmackDown. It was later revealed that the culprit was Naomi, and The Glow cost Cargill his fight against Liv Morgan on SmackDown this week.
Belair won the Women's Elimination Chamber Match and will compete for the World Women's Championship at WWE Wrestlemania 41. However, it should still have some kind of role in the Storyline between Cargill and Naomi, since he held the gold with both stars while teaming with them. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case, since the Est was not anywhere during this week of the blue brand.
#2. The new musical theme of The Street Profits was disappointing
The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) defeated #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) last week in SmackDown to become the new champions in WWE couples. Ford and Dawkins beat the Garza tonight at SmackDown in Italy.
The popular duo received a new musical theme after becoming champions, and debuted during tonight's show. Wrestling fans did not react well to the new issue on social networks, and the present crowd did not make much noise while the champions were heading to the ring.
#1. Jade Cargill suffered his first defeat in Smackdown
Jade Cargill was in pause for several months after being brutally attacked in the episode of November 22, 2024 of WWE Smackdown. He returned during elimination chamber 2025 to take revenge and defeat Naomi.
Former TBS champion fought against Liv Morgan tonight in an individual fight. Naomi returned during combat and attacked Cargill while the referee was not paying attention. Morgan took advantage of Naomi's attack and won by Pinfall after connecting an oblivion.
It was the first time that Cargill was defeated as WWE superstar, and it was due to an external interference. Although it was still an impressive victory for Morgan, Naomi's intervention cheated the moment.
