The PSOE blocked the email account of the former Secretary of Organization of the Party, Santos Cerdán, and changed the password the same day that was ceased, on June 12, according to the Requirement Act of the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, to which Eldiario.es has had access.
As recorded in the Civil Guard Minutes raised on Friday during the agents cloned work, on June 12 the match closed all the sessions of the email account, changed the access keys and activated the “litigation mode”, for which they blocked the “erase actions” that could be made of the mail account from that date.
The agents attended this Friday at the headquarters of the party on Ferraz Street, as well as different offices of several organizations dependent on the Ministry of Transportation, to comply with the order of the Judge of the Supreme Court Leopoldo Puente, which investigates the alleged plot of Amaños in Awards.
Also that same day, at 18:59, a few hours after the cessation of Santos Cerdán was known, the creation of a backup copy of the email content began.
The researchers cloned the mail account on Friday, June 20 and around 3 pm they left the building. In addition, the judge had requested information about different contracts and files at the ADIF or the General Directorate of Roads.
At the request of the UCO agents, it was verified then that the oldest mail had an entry date of March 29, 2023, in the ship's mailbox in 2017, and in the eliminated mailbox, in 2019.
Judge Puente has cited as investigated five entrepreneurs who would have participated in the plot and has agreed to suspend the declaration of Santos Cerdán at the request of his new lawyer, who has asked for time to study the case, now set for June 30.
