This week in Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes and John Cena they met face to face for the first time from elimination chamber 2025. Although it did not happen much between the two during this confrontation, Cena and Rhodes will again have the opportunity to express their thoughts to each other.
Next week at Monday Night Raw, Rhodes and Cena will meet again in Glasgow. Since the former did not talk to The American Nightmare this week and only rant against the WWE universe, Cena is expected to address Rhodes and his next fight for the title.
Although there are many expectations and speculation about what should happen, New Day's ex -Mexican, Big E, narrated what he thinks should happen between the two superstars next week. During an appearance in RAW RecapBig e suggested:
“Yes, man. They are two microphone teachers. Two types that are known thoroughly. It is this new version of John Cena. Again, that is not the only layer. I know there is another dinner layer that needs to be discovered. So, I can't wait for Monday.” (From 1:02:07 onwards)
Big e also refused to believe in John Cena's speech at Raw
In this week's RAW, John Cena further solidified his turn to Heel. Although Cena did not have much to tell Cody Rhodes, he did not hold on when it dealt with the WWE universe. WWE 16 times world champion launched a diatribe against fans, which led to the crowd.
This showed that Cena succeeded in making the WWE universe believe in everything he had to say. However, someone who refused to buy his performance was Big E. during the same episode of RAW Recap mentioned above, Big e said:
“Look, nobody can deny what John Cena has contributed to this business. I have met this man since FCW. We all used to train in his gym since 2010. He used to tell us that the audience is your parameter. They are the most honest in this industry. (…) there is much to break down what dinner had to say. But that is my first thought, 'John, I don't believe it.”
John Cena's speech at Raw was unusual because most WWE fans have never seen this side of him. It will be interesting to see if Cena remains as Heel throughout his farewell tour or if he leaves his person as a villain to be a favorite of the public.
