A twice WWE universal champion has talked about his retirement plans. Seth Rollins recently revealed how long it has left in the ring.

The visionary has been a WWE flag bearer in recent years. During his almost 15 years with the headquarters in Stamford, he achieved almost everything the company had to offer. He has won each title twice, becoming the second person to be a Grand Slam champion for the second time.

In an interview with WFANSeth Rollins said he plans to lower the curtain of his career in the ring at 45 years of age.

“I will fulfill 39 in May. You know, 45 maybe it sounds good to me, I think. It will depend a little on what you do in the coming years outside WWE or behind the scene in WWE. Both things are attractive to me. So I have to discover how that feels that. But my body definitely … I feel good now. I feel very good,” Rollins said.

The architect said he sees himself making a transition to a role behind the scene once he ends at the ring.

“I think I am more a guy behind the scene when the time comes to finish. As I would like to be on the other side. I no longer want to be a character in front. Once I finish in the ring, as let me go back, let me help the business. Let me help the boys and young girls, let me do something like that … yes, maybe something in the creative department,” he added.

What's still for Seth Rollins on WWE?

Seth Rollins was in action against CM Punk in Raw's recent episode. The two men faced each other inside the steel cage in a rematch at the beginning of this year. The visionary matched the score against the Superstar Straight Edge, thanks to a Roman Reigns that returned.

The only tribal boss took Rollins out of the cage and gave him a proven of his own medicine. In doing so, it accidentally cost him the fight against punk. While Paul Heyman was seen comforting an exhausted cm punk in the ring, Roman Reigns also knocked down the Chicago native.

The message was sent high and clear to both rivals. After what happened earlier this week, a triple threat fight between these men seems to be on their way to Wrestlemania 41.
