A WWE ex -star has practically confirmed that fans will not see it again in the Stamford -based promotion after recent incidents left him a bad taste in the mouth. Carmella said that, after WWE's decision not to renew his contract, he is convinced that he will never return to the promotion.
The fans took a surprise on February 21 when the news arose that Carmella had left WWE after the promotion, under the creative direction of Triple H, did not renew their contract. The 37 -year -old star had a 12 -year career in the company, where she became a women's SmackDown champion, won the women's championship in couples with Zelina Vega and captured the now extinct title 24/7 four times.
After his departure, Carmella expressed his discontent about how the company let her go after having a baby and felt that they “ignored it.”
In a new interview with Kail Lowry, he said that his relationship with WWE had deteriorated and that there were little chances of returning to the company.
“Why would you want to be in a place you don't love you?” He said when asked about a possible return. “It's like being in a relationship and someone is trying to end with you. 'No, don't leave me. I promise.' No, you are not loved in that relationship.
Carmella says she proposed her return to WWE
In another part of the same conversation, the former women's champion of SmackDown revealed that, approximately eight months after having a baby, he proposed to return to work.
Carmella revealed that he had talked to those in charge of the possibility of working as a manager of a team in pairs, since he was not in a position to contribute as a fighter.
“The most surprising thing is that I offered to return to work last summer. I was perhaps eight months postpartum and contacted the head of everything. I wasn't sure if I knew I had nervous damage, but I explained everything and said, 'I can't fight, but I would love to contribute in any way I can. Here is my proposal.' I had an idea of working with this team in pairs and being a manager.
It remains to be seen if, after the strong accusations of Carmella, WWE or the Triple H creative chief, they somehow approach the situation behind his departure.
