A WWE veteran recently compared Tony Khan with Vince McMahon after AEW's president was white from a social media post of Kevin Kelly. The veteran who made the comparison, Vince Russo, also explained why this effort was sentenced to failure.
Kevin Kelly recently published a tweet that seemed to refer to Tony Khan, mentioning that Khan was giving him lines through the headset when he worked at AEW. The former WWE commentator had been fired from the Jacksonville headquarters previously and then demanded the company.
While arguing this in The Wrestling OutlawsVince Russo talked about how Tony Khan was trying to micrognition the commentators similar to Vince McMahon. Said:
“The damn Tony Khan is trying to be Vince McMahon in the headphones of the commentators… Vince McMahon was in everyone's headphones, right? Vince McMahon had been doing it much longer than them, Vince McMahon had been doing more time than JR, more time than Lawler and Michael Cole. Tony, does Kevin Kelly literally have been doing it? The former WWE main writer has recently criticized AEW's creativity
Vince Russo does not keep words when giving his criticisms about wrestling, as seen in his complaints about AEW's programming.
While talking in Writing with RussoWWE's veteran talked about how AEW was not able to boost anyone properly because they continued to change stars in the active scene.
“There are many 'flavors of the month' in AEW and I think that goes back to creativity. I think it is 'taste of the month' because I have an idea for you. We can do this now. Maybe we can take four weeks. Maybe we can get eight weeks. But after those eight weeks, I have to get on the shelf again and now it happens to the next.
It remains to be seen what the AEW creative team plans.
