WWE's Chief of Creativity, Triple H, has been recognized for signing several popular names and bringing others back in recent years. A 41 -year -old fighter recently said that The Game's leadership played a crucial role in which he and his teammate signed a contract with the company based in Stamford.
After winning multiple championships around the world, Motor City Machine Guns arrived at the world giant. The duo defeated A-Town Down Under and Garza in a three-band battle in his debut. The following week, they beat #DIY to gain an opportunity for the title later that same night, which took advantage of both hands and dethroned Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to become the WWE couples champions.
During a recent interview in SHAQ WrestlingAlex Shelley of Moto Machine Machine Guns said they had a direct conversation with triple H before signing with the promotion of wrestling. He added that Hunter treated them with the utmost respect. SmackDown's superstar also said that Hunter played a crucial role in the Motor Mochine Guns' decision to sign with World Wrestling Entertainment, since the duo wanted to work under the veteran's leadership.
“We have no idea who had the idea of bringing us. However, I can say that we talked directly with Paul Triple H, and he treated us with the utmost respect. An important factor in our decision was that we wanted to be players in his team, we wanted to be part of WWE's machinery, specifically with him leading the load. Motor City Machine Guns lost two fighting for the WWE couples championship in two weeks
After defeating #Diy in a fight for the number one contender for the WWE couples championship on April 4, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin challenged The Street Profits for gold in the previous edition of WrestleMania by Friday Night Smackdown.
However, the champions won the disqualification fight, since Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano attacked the challengers before directing their attention to Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
The three teams then competed for the WWE couples championship the following week in SmackDown in a FTA fight. The Street Profits retained the title after a highly attractive battle in the main event.
It will be interesting to see if Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin can claim the couples championship.
