WWE Ricky Saints star revealed an optimistic goal for himself next year. Saints used to be known as Ricky Starks in All Elite Wrestling, but revealed that he changed his name in the ring last night while signing his contract with NXT.
Former FTW champion spoke with WWE Bully Ray's legend in Busted Open Radio after NXT's last night. Saints revealed that he would take the opportunity to join the main roster and said he hoped to compete at WWE Wrestlemania 42 next year. The shows show is rumored to be held in New Orleans in 2026, which is also the hometown of Ricky Saints:
“Absolutely, I would do it (I would take the opportunity to be called to the main roster quickly). We have New Orleans, supposedly rumored, right? Wrestlemania next year in New Orleans. Did you read about that? … I also listened to the rumor. If the rumor is true, that is my goal, fight in the (Caesars) Superdome. That is all I want and I will make it happen.
Saints spent some years at All Elite Wrestling but had not been used by promotion since March 2024 before being released earlier this month.

Ricky Saints discussed his time at AEW and pointed out that some veterans played a role in their departure from the company.
Speaking in Busted Open RadioSaints shared that some veterans of the industry interfered with their creative plans and that should never have happened. WWE NXT star added that these people had their phone number if they wanted to contact him:
“I will say this, there are some people who put their noses in my creative business that they should not have done it. Veterans. And that is all, I will leave it there. And if they have a problem with me, they have my number. And that they send me a message about it. I think it was that if it did not work for their creativity, then someone had to leave. I see it,” he said.
Ricky Saints will compete in his debut fight at WWE NXT next week. The 34 -year -old will join Ja'von Evans to face Ethan Page and Wes Lee in team fight next Tuesday night.
