WWE recently released several talents from his contracts. The wrestling veteran Booker T explained what the true reason could be behind the headquarters in Stamford letting one of those stars go.
The releases were not exclusive only from the main roster. The former champion in NXT couples, Duke Hudson, was released in January. The 34 -year -old fighter had been with the promotion of wrestling since 2019.
In a recent edition of his podcast Hall of FameBooker T talked about Duke Hudson. The former world champion said that former Chase or NXT member had been in NXT for six years. The veteran hinted that Hudson's inability to reinvent himself could have led the promotion of wrestling to free the star.
“Duke Hudson began with me in reality of Wrestling. I had the opportunity to see him ascend and then make his trip to the WWE, to NXT, and the case is that Duke Hudson has been in that system for six years. The case is that six years in the NXT system, it will be too long for anyone. I say it all the time. If you do not change with the times, the times will happen to you. Something that makes you see you differently than they have seen before, that will not be their fault.

Then in the same episode of the podcast Hall of FameBooker T mentioned the changes that fighters could try to reinvent the character they are interpreting.
The NXT commentator pointed out that the required change could be as small as cutting hair and as demanding as working harder in the gym to lift eyebrows. He noticed that a talent that refuses to do it is preparing for failure.
They can be very small things, such as cutting the hair in a certain way. It can be something as important as going to the gym and spending a lot of time. I mean when everyone is sleeping, you are working. So, when you arrive and take off your shirt, suddenly someone raises your eyebrows a little. If you don't prepare, you prepare to fail, and that's the conclusion, ”said Booker.
