After the interpretation of the United States anthem, WWE Backlash begins when images of several fighters were shown arriving at the sand before our commentators team, Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, welcomed us to the program itself before the initial combat.

Fatal Four-Way for the United States Championship: Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre vs. The Knight vs. Damian Priest

In the final moments, in the crowd, Priest and McIntyre fought while their fight climbed to an elevated platform. Priest knocked McIntyre with a South of Heaven Chokeslam through a couple of tables in the resulting tumult. Back in Ringside, Knight continued to dominate when he launched Fatu against the ring post once again, and then planted it at the commentator table. Knight went up to the upper post and seemed to have Fatu finished with a minced elbow, until only Sikoa took Fatu out of danger. While Knight looked at Sikoa, a mysterious person attacked him before the assailant jumped the barricade.

The assailant was revealed as Jeff Cobb, who attacked Knight before the challenger was thrown into the ring. While Fatu recovered, he briefly looked at Cobb and Sikoa before entering the ring to continue the attack on Knight. A hip attack and a Moonsault later, Fatu made the winning account to retain his United States championship.

Ganador: Jacob Fatu

For the Women's Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Tremendous combat. In the end Lynch sent Valkyria to the corner of the middle as she connected another Manhandle Slam, but Valkyria released himself again. Lynch tried to send Valkyria to the ring post, but the referee saw him.

After an exchange of accounts, Valkyria achieved a victory with a lightning roll to retain. However, the female intercontinental champion did not have time to celebrate, since Lynch lost control and caught Valkyria in Dis-Arm-Her. A group of exluchors, referees and Adam Pearce went to the ring to stop Lynch's uproar.

Genator: Lyra Valkyria

For the Male Intercontinental Championship: Dominick Mysterio (c) vs. Penta

In the final moments, Carlito, JD and Finn Balor intervene, but the referee takes them out of the match. Penta launches on the outskirts on Carlito and JD while Finn distracts the referee. Penta was about to win but from nothing appears a great American who hit Cabezaso to Penta for this falling and receiving Frog Splash from Mysterio and falling defeated.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio

Gunther vs. Pat McAfee

Gunther dominated most. In the final moments, Mcafee was caught with a Boston Crab by Gunther while Michael Cole got up from his commentator seat and tried to encourage McAfee. Gunther realized and dragged Cole to the ring while trying to connect a PowerBomb to the commentator. Mcafee intervened with a kick, but Gunther responded with a kick. Cole grabbed Gunther's feet while Mcafee tried the account of three, but Gunther kicked.

Mcafee's attempt to apply a sleeping key was arrested when Gunter destroyed him with a loop. Gunther caught Mcafee with his patented sleeping key and seemed to have everything under control. Mcafee struggled and tried to get out, but could not escape, and Gunter took the victory for detention of the referee.

After the fight, Gunther seemed to recognize McAfee's effort.

Winner: Gunther

Fight for the WWE undisputed championship: John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Fight full of false endings with a super crazy end. Orton argued with the referee while Cena grabbed the WWE championship belt. Orton applied an RKO to Cena, but there was no referee to count. The general manager of Smackdown, Nick Aldis, and several officers ran to the ring to observe chaos, for great irritation of Orton.

Orton enraged and demolished Aldis and the other officers with a rain of RKO, to delight in the public of San Luis. Dinner was back in position for a point, but R-Truth ran to stop Orton in the last second. He received an RKO for his problems. This allowed Cena to connect a low blow to Orton, followed by a blow with the title.

While the referee dragged back to the ring, Cena made the account of three and won.

Winner: John Cena

Dinner then said he didn't need music and needed competition. Cena said that this is how the “last real champion.”
