WWE has signed several ex -stars of AEW in recent years. A wrestling veteran recently urged the company to hire another AEW ex -chance if you decide to leave Tony Khan's promotion.
Britt Baker has been with AEW since 2019. He was AEW Women's World Champion for 290 days between May 2021 and March 2022 before losing the title against Thunder Rosa. However, it has been reported that the 33 -year -old fighter has been involved in controversial incidents after racks. Recent rumors suggested that Baker was not popular in AEW's female locker room and potentially ended his stage in the company since Khan would no longer use it. In The Coach & Bro Show, Jonathan Coachman discussed the future of AEW's women's former champion.
The former interim general manager of RAW said that the company based in Stamford must immediately sign Baker if he leaves AEW. He suggested that Triple H and his team could make the best of the true dentist:
“I say it right now, if they let it go, it must be hired by WWE tomorrow. It would be incredible because they can take advantage of what it really is and the dynamics that it contributes to the costumes,” he said. (32:13 – 32:25)
Britt Baker previously said that WWE showed interest in hiring her
In an interview with Inside The Ropes almost three years ago, Britt Baker talked about the possibility of joining WWE. He said that the company with headquarters in Stamford showed interest in hiring it.
AEW's world champion -world champion declared that he could not trust WWE, unlike Tony Khan's promotion:
“They definitely showed interest. Unfortunately, I have to choose how to say this, but I simply feel that you cannot trust anything with that company, while in AEW they have never promised me something that would not be fulfilled. It is something that, unfortunately, it is sad that it is reduced to that, that it makes a company not really desirable because you cannot trust anything they say. I know that businesses are business, and I understand it. Business are also business, ”he said.
It would be interesting to see if Baker would end up in the company based in Stamford if he leaves AEW.
