There has been an important update with respect to a possible return of Aleister Black to the WWE. The veteran spent the last years acting as Malakai Black in All Elite Wrestling.
Fightful Select reported During the edition of AEW Dynamite last Wednesday that Black's time in AEW could be coming to an end. According to a new report from PW Insiderthe former champion will become a free agent in February or March. The report added that, although Black is still technically under contract, it is believed that it has finished making appearances for the company.
Aleister Black was released by promotion in 2021 and spent several years at All Elite Wrestling. The veteran was the leader of The House of Black faction and the group captured the trios championships once. Black never captured an individual title during his time in AEW and has not competed in a fight since Full Gear 2024.

The company apparently expects Aleister Black to return to the promotion once he officially becomes a free agent.
According to a new report by Wrestling Observer NewsletterBlack will be believed to leave All Elite Wrestling, although there has been no confirmation. The report added that there have been conversations in the WWE about its possible return and discussions about the veteran within the creative team:
“There has been a lot of conversation in the last two days about Malakai Black. It is commented after racks that had gone, although when trying to confirm it, nobody said anything. It has been informed in other places, and a person close to the situation said they confirmed it with us, but when we officially asked, there was neither confirmation nor denial. No one hopes he returned. It was like this for a while, but obviously there have been conversations about him lately in WWE's creative team. ”
The 39 -year -old fighter is a former NXT champion, but had a disappointing passage through the main cast a few years ago. Only time will say what the future holds Black in the world of professional wrestling.
