Cody Rhodes is on top of the world as the undisputed WWE champion. The 39 -year -old fighter has kept the title from Wrestlemania last year, when he dethroned Roman Reigns at the main event of night.
Now, The American Nightmare is wrapped in a bitter rivalry with Kevin Owens. The dispute is intensifying, but Rhodes could have another fighter to worry about, and it is not Drew McIntyre. It could be attacked by former WWE Nxt Ethan Page champion in the next edition of SmackDown.
The 35 -year -old fighter has competed in Ring of Honor, All Elite Wrestling, Tna Wrestling and more. All Ego lost the NXT championship against Trick Williams in October 2024. Given his level of experience, Page is likely to be called the main roster soon. This could be bad news for Cody Rhodes.
It would make a lot of sense to begin a new rivalry, and could also align with Cody's current angle. Ethan Page is a Canadian star who knows Kevin Owens for a long time.
If All Ego joins the main roster and attacks Rhodes, he could ally with KO and perhaps even helping the prizefighter to win the indisputable title of the WWE in the Royal Rumble Ple event. However, this is speculative for now.
Ethan Page could reveal later that The Rock sent him after the undisputed WWE champion
An alliance between Ethan Page and Kevin Owens to break down Cody Rhodes would make a lot of sense. That said, there could be serving an even greater purpose. Page could have been sent after the WWE undisputed champion by The Rock.
The final Boss and Ethan Page had a face to face on WWE Nxt this week. Although The Rock warned All Ego not to get with his daughter, Ava, NXT general manager, the two also seemed to get along quite well.
The People's Champion was wrapped in a heated rivalry with Cody Rhodes last year. Despite praising The American Nightmare in RAW, The Final Boss mentioned being “20 steps forward” during his promo in NXT, insinuating that his problems with Rhodes have not finished.
The Rock could be playing a long -term game that many, especially Cody Rhodes, have not fully understood. Ethan Page could be part of that long -term game, just like Kevin Owens and even Drew McIntyre, potentially.
All Ego could have been sent after Cody as a test, just for The Rock to do his presence known at a later date. But, again, this is speculative at this point.
